Game Rules:

Thank you for playing the "Blackjack 3-Minute Challenge"!

Below is a summary of the rules to play the game, although, if you wish, you can read the full ruleset!

Key Differences To Fully A Fledged Casino Blackjack:

  • No "Double Down".
  • No "Insurance" bets.
  • No "Surrender".
  • No "Bet Behind".

Aim:

  • Get a higher total than that of the dealer, without exceeding 21.
  • Going over 21 (known as a 'bust'); automatically loses you the round.

Point Values:

  • 1 through 10 cards = 1-10 points
  • Jack, Queen & King = 10 points
  • Aces = 11 or 1 point(s)

Order Of Play:

  1. Place your bets! (minimum of $50 is deducted per round at a minimum).
  2. The dealer will deal two cards to you and two to themselves (one of the dealer's cards is dealt face-down)!
  3. You will draw ("Hit") cards until you choose to stop.
  4. Press "Stand" to stop drawing. The dealer will now have their turn.
  5. The dealer must draw cards until they have at least 17 points!

Win/Loss Conditions:

  • If you go bust, the dealer wins automatically!
  • If the dealer busts and you aren't; you win!
  • In every other case; the higher score wins!
  • In the case of a tie; nobody wins (bets are not lost).

Options that may be available during a round:

  • Split Hand:
    • If both of your initial cards are the same, ie. two 4s or two Kings; you can "Split" your hand.
    • When splitting you must be able to produce an equivalent bet amount to your original bet, or you won't be allowed to split.
    • Splitting puts one of the identical cards out of play, for now, and lets you play them separately in consecutive rounds.
    • Top tip: try splitting high-value cards like Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Aces!
  • (More options will become available in future updates)

Winnings:

  • If you win; you double your original bet!

Congratulations

You have beaten your previous record!

Your top 3 scores:

1. 0
